We had a great time spending two days in a suite with a separate bedroom, the staff was very kind, and the location was superb, with fantastic restaurant recommendations from the staff.

Beautiful historical accommodation with excellent setting just next door to the garden next to the relaxing space lemon tree and the center. Easy check-in, nice employees. Really great overall experience.

Our room had a flat-screen TV with cable channels, climate control, and a personal safe. The location was very central, close to easy bus transportation, the main town square, and the old city centre. Plus, there was a tapas restaurant nearby.

We had booked here before and would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Aq 188 Guest House is a beautiful historical hotel with a tapas restaurant and nice staff. The location is excellent and it's near easy to use bus transportation. The staff member was superb in her assistance with a great recommendation for a restaurant.

The room was nicely furnished with a big bed, good sound insulation, and had a Portuguese feel as advertised. The location was great, close to Praca da Republica.

The room was exactly as shown in the photos - bright, clean, modern, and cozy. The bed and linens were incredibly comfortable, making it hard to get out of bed in the mornings. The shared kitchen was also a great feature, as it was clean, well-equipped, and located conveniently close to my room. It was a pleasure to have access to tea every night. The location of the hotel was fantastic, as I was able to easily walk to all the attractions and sights in the area. it was just a short Uber ride away from the train station. The staff were incredibly friendly and checked in on me daily. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and will definitely be returning in the future.

There was absolutely nothing that I disliked about my weekend at this hotel. Everything was perfect - from the comfortable room to the well-equipped kitchen to the friendly staff.

The rooms are airy and new-fashioned, and are complete with sound insulation and a nice bright bathroom, for instance. Also, the location is favourable and excellent, minutes from a Botanical garden. The staff are excellent and caring.

everything was brand-new, magnificent location near to the city center, pleasant staff. the suite was bright, included a shower and bath sheets. the bathroom was marble, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable.

The location was perfect, with easy access to the city center and market, as well as a nearby park. We were able to park right in front of the house without any issues. The apartment itself was beautifully arranged and spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable amenities. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, providing us with plenty of water and coffee. We highly recommend staying here for a wonderful experience.

Despite being an old house, the noise level was minimal, although light sleepers should consider requesting a room on the upper floors. The only other minor drawback was the occasional noise from other guests and the need for better sound insulation within the building.
